AWARDS: PROMETHEUS A list of the Prometheus awards, arranged by year.

In 1979, science fiction writer L. Neil Smith created the Prometheus Awards, to honor libertarian fiction. It immediately fell into limbo the following year. The Libertarian Futurist Society revived the Prometheus Award in 1982, and in 1983 a second annual award called the Hall of Fame Award was added.
