Loaded up the van and checked out of the hotel. For the life of me, I can't remember where we had breakfast.
Off to Seaworld. The skies were gray and the clouds were getting lower and lower. Big sign at the entrance -- "No money returned if it rains!"
About an hour after we went in, it started pouring. In September! Something that happens in California maybe once every 5 years. People were shelling out up to $20 for Seaworld ponchos and umbrellas -- and then running to get a front row seat at the Shamu show. Lots of brains, these people. For those of you who have never been to Seaworld, the Shamu show is where the killer whale sends waves of water over his swimming wall, drenching the first 20 rows with sea water.
JD and I just shrugged and got soaked by the rain :-)
