September 4th - Wednesday

After dropping off the boxes at the Post Office (JD just rolled his eyes when the Postmistress and I greeted each other by our first names, LOL) ... Off to San Diego! This was an easy drive -- about 90 minutes. Pointed out the Temecula wine road to JD on the way - in case he decides to come back and visit again. :-)

First stop was Sunset Cliffs. In the 2nd picture, read then sign and note where JD is standing.

Some wandering around San Diego by car and then on to our room on Hotel Circle (with patio for the smoker) to open some wine

And to await our 2 San Diego OWCer's. Sigh - PMSallume never read her email and stood us up. But Darkomic showed up!! After this much time together, JD and I are acting like an old cranky married couple ("Rub my feet, JD. They hurt." "No." ::: 5 minutes later ::: "Gee, my feet need a massage." "No.") Dark was entertained :-)
