TippiBlevins: It's very smart and I think it did a good bit to revitalize the vamp subgenre. OWC Mars: What are the universal laws, in that universe TippiBlevins: In what universe? Buffy? OWC Mars: This goes back to an earlier topic TippiBlevins: I'm a little lost... OWC Mars: The alternate universe... OWC Mars: you were saying OWC Mars: that a realistic character OWC Mars: would be realistic for OWC Mars: his/her own universe, or something like that TippiBlevins: Oh about consistency within the created universe? OWC Mars: how have you formed it? Cephalopodperson: ? OWC Mars: yes TippiBlevins: Oh that! TippiBlevins: ok TippiBlevins: I have two main vamp universe: The Oloroso, TX/Fangsters stories, and the Tribal stories... TippiBlevins: Oloroso came about because after reading many vampire stories, I noticed most of them took place in interesting fabulous places... TippiBlevins: New York, New Orleans, San Fran, etc... TippiBlevins: And I wanted vamps in my hometown, which I recreated as Oloroso, TX... TippiBlevins: The laws are very basic, pretty much like our own... It's a very "realistic" setup where the vampires aren't terribly suave or powerful... TippiBlevins: In the Tribal stories, they have a little more coolness factor... TippiBlevins: The main thing about creating that universe has been to delve into what kind of myths the vamps themselves would have... TippiBlevins: In the DNA Collection, forthcoming, I should have a story about a creature that preys on vampires... TippiBlevins: On the night of the new moon, because it is so sensitive to light it can't even tolerate the moon... TippiBlevins: Boy I talked a lot! OWC Mars: Zyxt...queue? Darkomik77: (holding up the mirror from Doc's eyes) Cephalopodperson: "Terminus est". You know it's either Gene Wolfe, or Jim Morrison in Latin. OWC Mars: Hmmmm.....Dr. You're currently claiming to be a Dragon then? Drgafia1: <--wondering why everyone moves away from him on the Group W bench.... Araiused: He is shooting rays from his eyes, Scanner OWC Mars: LOL Araiused: Gene Wolfe's, Ceph Araiused: Severian's sword. BLR WIZ: My Hands are Leathal Weapons. OWC Mars: As I recall... OWC Mars: Ghost and Mr. Chicken. Cephalopodperson: Yah, yah, I know...but it's also a Doors lyric. :) Scanner59: Wish I could, Araiused Darkomik77: I always carry a 357 Magnum Darkomik77: the kind Dirty Harry carries Cephalopodperson: In English, that is. Scanner59: make my day, darko OWC Mars: And I carry a stunning smile and indominable charm. Drgafia1: Sure. Would you like to have tea with the rich brown (rather than black) dragon? BLR WIZ: Don Knots is from Morgantown, W. Va. Scanner59: Don Knotts?!?! Athanor IX: DH carries a S&W Model 29 in .44 magnum. OWC Mars: So folks...how many here regularly read Horror? Araiused: :: fainting upon seeing Mars' indominable smile ::: Scanner59: Morgantown? Wasn't that a Joni Mitchell tune?!? Oh, the horror! OWC Mars: Instead of just perpetrating it in chatrooms. Drgafia1: Yeah, the .357 only goes thru >one< engine casing; a .44 will go thru two.... BLR WIZ: the Ghost and Mr. Chicken was mentioned? TAMirabile: lol I do some Darkomik77: (raises hand) I do mars Scanner59: I read horror, sometimes TAMirabile: The Ghost and Mr Chicken is horror? OWC Mars: Dark...you're a lovecraft fan, correct? Darkomik77: yup Araiused: Sometimes, Mars, not in a while though. Athanor IX: That penetrating engine thing is a myth... Darkomik77: straight up Araiused: I loved Poe Scanner59: but the anthologies I've read don't really give me the creeps, properly, the way horror should OWC Mars: TAM...I'd say it was in the Comic/Horror subgenre. BLR WIZ: TAM, not with Don Knots staring.... BLR WIZ: It is straight slapstic TAMirabile: lol BLR that's what I was wondering OWC Mars: Well....BLR....there were those scenes on the porch swing... Cephalopodperson: Just the "Ghost" part, TAM. OWC Mars: and if you've ever been on a blind date... OWC Mars: you *KNOW* that was the horror part. Araiused: I think Poe's horror was scarier than Stephen King's. OWC Mars: :::smiles blindingly::: Araiused: ::: putting on shades ::: Cephalopodperson: It was definitely more lyrical, Ara. BLR WIZ: In His bio, on A&E, Don was quite the Ladys Man. OWC Mars: It was good Ara. I remember being terried by "Telltale heart" Scanner59: I couldn't finish reading The Shining... and Jerusalem's Lot was pretty creepy. none of the others, though... TAMirabile: Yeah Darkomik77: ara, SK's latter ones are getting a little bland lately OWC Mars: Any vampire fans in here? Scanner59: YES E cat s: ::::raising hand:::: OWC Mars: That is, fans of the Vampire subgenre... you Scanner? Scanner59: Oh, yes.... TAMirabile: Do Laurell K Hamilton's books count? Cephalopodperson: Could be...I have an anemic Cassablanca. Araiused: You a vampire fan, E? OWC Mars: Cool....then I'd definately recommend you check OWC Mars: out Tippi's site. She has a lot of fiction online. BLR WIZ: I keep a bottle of Holy Water here, Mars, Just in Case./ Drgafia1: I prefer Choo-Choo Martin's FEVRE DREAM to INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE.... E cat s: Yes, of a sort. I like Hamilton. OWC Mars: Dunno...Laurell K Hamilton...anyone? Darkomik77: I'm reading Bentley Little's vampire novel Darkomik77: The Summoning Araiused: Me too, Dr G TAMirabile: Carrie Araiused: I liked Fevre Dream Cephalopodperson: That's cute, Dark. The movie is cute, too. OWC Mars: BLR...I'm and anti-theist...but I keep an emergency crucifix. Darkomik77: so did I doc Darkomik77: what? ceph Drgafia1: Carrie! Good movie -- the ending sent >me< out of my seat... BLR WIZ: Yep ;) Athanor IX: If you don't believe, it won't work. Darkomik77: what's so cute about the novel I just read>? OWC Mars: DRG...would you consider Carrie a crossgenre story what with the telekinesis? TAMirabile: The book did too and very sad about the way that talent was wasted Darkomik77: I didn't know it was made into a movie Darkomik77: I liked Carrie E cat s: What scientific basis is there for telekinesis? Darkomik77: didn't bother with the sequel though OWC Mars: I don't know that there is any, E. Cephalopodperson: Hamilton, Newman, Romkey, Yarbro, Rice, Cephalopodperson: Saberhagen, Nancy Collins, Meredith Pierce, Cephalopodperson: Lumley. I've read a few. Drgafia1: Yeah, Mars, good point -- it was horror given a stfnal explanation.... OWC Mars: It's just that it often shows up in classical golden age sf via Campbell. Cephalopodperson: And...King...yeah, him too. Darkomik77: don't forget Barker ceph E cat s: aha Araiused: Brain waves, E. Cephalopodperson: Barkr confuses me. Darkomik77: not me OWC Mars: And because I got started reading SF from the golden age authors... Cephalopodperson: Even with an "e". OWC Mars: I've just always considered telepathy and telekinesis to be valid SF topics. OWC Mars: Some folks don't though. TAMirabile: heh good chat topic Cephalopodperson: That would be ScryFi. DerHexer: Hi all Araiused: They're fun plot tools, Mars. OWC Mars: Hi Der! TAMirabile: LOL Ceph Araiused: Hey, Der Darkomik77: mars, you'll find telepathy in SF stories all the time BLR WIZ: Last Friday, Mars made it's closest approach to the Sun in its orbit. E cat s: Hi, Der OWC Mars: Much like FTL is a fun plot tool Ara. Darkomik77: yo der BLR WIZ: Hi Der Drgafia1: I consider telepathy and ftl travel to be stfnal, even though... DerHexer: How is everyone? Athanor IX: IMO, any topic can be a SF topic if it is handled in a SF way. OWC Mars: Thanks for noticing my tan, BLR> Araiused: Swell, Der Araiused: LOLOL, Mars. Cephalopodperson: Barker gives me headaches. BLR WIZ: Mars ;) DerHexer: Stfnal? Araiused: A little too much sun there, Mars :0 OWC Mars: Yeah...I need a defination of Stfnal too. Darkomik77: not to your liking I guess ceph Araiused: Scientifictional? Drgafia1: Stfnal - of and having to do with stf. It's an abbreviation for Scientifiction... Cephalopodperson: It's just very confusingly plotted, and when you finally Cephalopodperson: unravel the knot, you wonder why you bothered. Araiused: Gee, I got it right. Darkomik77: I have no prob with that OWC Mars: Okay...I'm leaning more towards SpecFic lately, OWC Mars: though I suppose that doen't really cover the DerHexer: Zo, what's the difference between Scientifiction & Science Fiction? OWC Mars: fantasy fields, does it? Drgafia1: ...I use it a bit tongue-in-cheek, since "stf" shd probably only be used to describe something like RALPH 24C41+... Darkomik77: none whatsoever der Athanor IX: About ten years BLR WIZ: Yes Cepl, do you want door number 1 1, 2 or 3? OWC Mars: LOL Ath. Drgafia1: Good definition, Athanor -- but make it 15-20.... DerHexer: ??What is the topic for tonight?? OWC Mars: Is SpecFic and umbrella term that adequately takes in Science Fiction Fantasy and Horror? Araiused: :: looking around for Pit Thing ::: Cephalopodperson: And I do believe that Scott Bakula set his career Cephalopodperson: back 10 years by agreeing to star in LORD OF Cephalopodperson: ILLUSIONS. Araiused: Topic left for the night, Der OWC Mars: Der...you just missed our interview with Tippi N. Blevins. Cephalopodperson: Yah, it does. Athanor IX: Wasn't "science fiction" in use by 36? Drgafia1: See, if you go back far enough, they were called "scientific romances"; Gernsback called them "scientifiction" in AMAZING, and after a few years it devolved to "science fiction".... OWC Mars: Tippi writes future vampire stories, as well as SF and fantasy. Darkomik77: ara, don't worry 'bout the pit thing Scanner59: "future vampire"??? OWC Mars: Right now we're don't post interview discussion. Araiused: Why not, it's a load of fun. Darkomik77: not when I have a rocket launcher ready for him OWC Mars: Yeah, Scanner. Check out Tippi's website. BLR WIZ: I am a master of Illusions, Cep. Araiused: Howso, Mars? :/ Scanner59: Would Lovecraft be strictly horror? Darkomik77: all he has to do is stick his head out OWC Mars: "Flight" is a good example of vampires in a future dysfunctional world... OWC Mars: very cyberpunk. Cephalopodperson: New Wave writers lobbied for Speculative Fiction and Cephalopodperson: were dismissed by hoards of stereotype-driven fans. Cephalopodperson: Decades later, the term is used comfortably. Darkomik77: not necessarily scans Athanor IX: Lovecraft's range includes horror, SF, and fantasy. Scanner59: yees, Ceph, the 70s and 80s were tumultuous times in SF OWC Mars: http://tippinblevins.com/ is the url Scanner. Scanner59: thanks, Mars Athanor IX: Horror: The Rats in the Walls. OWC Mars: So...is that a yes or a no. BLR WIZ: How about Vampires asking you the same questions that they do when you give blood? Athanor IX: SF: Color out of Space TAMirabile: I went to a local con last week end. TAMirabile: They had a thing running in the con TAMirabile: suite showing some of Forey OWC Mars: Does Spec Fic cover horror? Cephalopodperson: Si. TAMirabile: Ackerman's collection all I could Athanor IX: Fantasy: Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath TAMirabile: think of was "scifi" Araiused: Cool, TAM! Darkomik77: sure mars DerHexer: I'd say SpecFic is that which trie sto extrapoltate existing trends, while SF doesn't have to try to extend trends Drgafia1: TAM, Forry invented the term.... Darkomik77: Lathe Of Heaven for instance? OWC Mars: Dark gives it a yay...anyone else? Cephalopodperson: Si, da...ya. OWC Mars: So, Der. Spec Fic would cover some of Connie OWC Mars: Willis' work but wouldn't include Heinlein or Poe? Araiused: :: nods ::: TAMirabile: Yup, Drga, and that's the first thing I think of OWC Mars: Tam... i think you hit the nail on the head with Ackerman's stuff. OWC Mars: He collected mostly movie memorabilia though, didn't he? Darkomik77: yup mars DerHexer: Lot of RAH's stuff was spec fic, until he got all weirded out. It was spec fic for that period OWC Mars: Okay...so is there an umbrella term for all fiction fantastic? TAMirabile: I think so, but also some original manuscripts and stuff Drgafia1: Forry -- who's one of the nicest pipple you'll meet in fandom -- was associated with FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND... OWC Mars: Sounds cool Tam. Cephalopodperson: Speculative fiction. The trinity. Gandalara: Yo Darkomik77: kablooey gand Araiused: Hey, Gand! DerHexer: Oh my goodness, we're going to try to define SF Darkomik77: yo back OWC Mars: Hey Gand. BLR WIZ: She walks with booms in the night. E cat s: Hi Gand :) DerHexer: Hi Gand TAMirabile: Hi, Gand OWC Mars: You missed Tippi Blevins, and an outstanding job on the part of Zyxt. Drgafia1: ...his celebration of grade-B sf movies made "sci fi" a term that tended to be applied only to them... Cephalopodperson: SF/Horror/fantasy, and any incestuous mingling of the three. Scanner59: My head is still foggy from this horrible cold; you guys are zipping past me in hyperdrive. Darkomik77: der, we can never agree on the definition of SF Drgafia1: ...for all that he meant it to cover the whole genre... Araiused: Zip zip zip TAMirabile: I'm tempted to run Gand's boom macro TAMirabile: but it seems at least vaguely ? at Athanor IX: Let us leave it with the B movies. OWC Mars: So Ceph...you say that specfic covers horror and fantasy then. TAMirabile: the moment Drgafia1: Dark, sure we can: "Science fiction is that thing I point to when I say, 'That is science fiction!'" ... Cephalopodperson: Sure. BLR WIZ: lol\ DerHexer: I agree, Darko, but I think we can say what ISN'T SF Gandalara: Um huh, TAM? TAMirabile: I agree with Drg TAMirabile: Gand------ :) OWC Mars: Well I'm willing to go with that...but I could see OWC Mars: there could be some argument that Vampires aren't OWC Mars: speculative as they aren't possible. DerHexer: Why aren't vampires possible, Mars?? Cephalopodperson: Read Simmons' CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT. Scanner59: who knows whether they are possible in future or not, Mars? TAMirabile: Either that they aren't speculative because they are real? OWC Mars: LOLOLOL. Well that was quick. Darkomik77: well, doc, if some dodo film producer comes in at a convention wheeling in the tv set & VCR Drgafia1: Vampires might be aliens; a science fictional explanation... Cephalopodperson: Somebody...a host who shall remain nameless...did Cephalopodperson: a chat on "vampires in SF" a few weeks back. Darkomik77: plays the tape of ST & tells me that's SF Athanor IX: Or products of genetic engineering. DerHexer: Or, vampires might be mutated humans, another SF explanation OWC Mars: Okay...so you would call Anne Rice's vampire novels SpecFic? Darkomik77: I'd do the same wheeling in another set & play the tape of B5 Cephalopodperson: They're speculative. Scanner59: sure, vampires could be explained as a part of a symbiotic relationship... Cephalopodperson: They're not horror. OWC Mars: And, Cephalpodperson, I'm sure the unnamed host did a superb job too. Darkomik77: Now that'/s Science fiction!": Cephalopodperson: Rather, they're not "simply" horror. Araiused: I remember that well, Mars :) OWC Mars: Okay... I'll buy it for a quarter. DerHexer: Well, Rice offers no explanation for how vampires came about, so I'd classify it as horror Drgafia1: Dark, you can say, "No it's not -- it's sci fi. Mundanes pronounce that 'psi phi' but we cognescente call it 'skiffy'..." Cephalopodperson: Hi Patt. Patterner: Hi folks! Araiused: Hi, Patt! E cat s: Hi Patterner :) OWC Mars: Hi Patt. Scanner59: Hi Patt Darkomik77: yo patt TAMirabile: Hi, Patt! OWC Mars: We're having a little post interview discussion here on whether or not... Cephalopodperson: Actually, she does. In QUEEN OF THE DAMNED. DerHexer: Skiffy? Don't you buy that in a jar - creamy or crunchy?? OWC Mars: Horror fits under the specfic umbrella. Patterner: Hi Gand! Hi E! Hi Der! Hi Ara! Hi Scan! Hi Patterner: BLR! Hi Ath! Hi Ceph! Hi DrG! Hi Dark! Hi Patterner: Mars! Drgafia1: Der, I agree -- Rice writes horror, not sf. But then, I think Harry Potter is fantasy...not science fiction. DerHexer: I gave up after Intergiew DerHexer: Hi Patt!! Scanner59: DrG, you're right about Harry Potter.. it is fantasy Darkomik77: even though Potter practiced alchemy Cephalopodperson: Rice will never win a Hugo. But, I doubt that her Cephalopodperson: accountant will find that a problematic situation. TAMirabile: Local SF discussion group is having Harry Potter as the topic this Sunday Drgafia1: Der, Rice's Real Problem as a writer is that she was a best seller before she learned out to write. So she has far too much exposition, telling when she shd be showing.... Scanner59: when's the last time Heinlein had one of his heroes flying on a broom? DerHexer: I think there needs to be an elemnt of science in skiffy Athanor IX: I gave up partway into Interview. Or maybe it was Lestat. I forget. Drgafia1: "learned how"... Darkomik77: oh tam? that mean there's gonna be fist fights? TAMirabile: or her stock broker, or property manager or.............. Cephalopodperson: She did the vampire Genesis in QotD. DerHexer: A couple of RAH's short stories had magic in them OWC Mars: QotD? Patterner: We're discussing Kipling's Science Fiction this Patterner: Saturday. It's deadly OWC Mars: Oh...sorry Queen of the Damned. Drgafia1: RAH Cephalopodperson: QUEEN OF THE DAMNED. OWC Mars: Thanks Ceph. Drgafia1: RAH wrote a couple of fantasy stories for UNKNOWN, also edited by Campbell... TAMirabile: It should be an interesting discussion non violent though, I think DerHexer: Kipling's SF? I'll have to hunt thru my packed away books Araiused: It's flammable, Patt? OWC Mars: Hmmm. Drg. I thought that Heinlein's only foray into Fantasy was Glory Road. Darkomik77: patt, Kipling? science fiction????? TAMirabile: RAH got awfully close to broomsticks in Waldo BLR WIZ: bak Araiused: Rudyard Kipling? Cephalopodperson: Yeah...there was Waldo, and a few stories. Darkomik77: my thoughts exactly ara DerHexer: Kipling did write some SF, Dark. I read it long ago Cephalopodperson: GR wasn't fantsy at all, really. Drgafia1: No, he wrote a number of fantasties. One about a sentient whirlwind... Patterner: Well, let's just say that I'd only classify one as Araiused: SHE, Der? Patterner: SF. I don't think anthropomorphizing machines Patterner: counts. TAMirabile: Ah yes "Magic, Incorporated" Cephalopodperson: It was a "scientificated" quest novel. Darkomik77: gee, I never knew SF ever kippled Gandalara: LOL DerHexer: I'm going to have to dig into my long term memory Patterner: It's edited by Brunner, and there's apparently a Patterner: companion volume of his fantasy. Since most of Patterner: what's in the SF book is fantasy, I dunno Patterner: what's in the fantasy book. Araiused: "Kipples and Bits." OWC Mars: LOL Ara. TAMirabile: lol Darkomik77: ara, SHE is written by H. Rider Haggard Patterner: LOL Scanner59: lol Darkomik77: it's a little haggard Scanner59: ouch Araiused: Right, Dark, I used to confused them two writers. TAMirabile: LOL Dark Cephalopodperson: LOL Araiused: confuse, too OWC Mars: LOL Dark. OWC Mars: She who must be obeyed. Scanner59: that's me OWC Mars: Dark, I kind of liked that book. BLR WIZ: I must go. Thanks for the chat. Night All....... Cephalopodperson: Night, BLR. OWC Mars: Night BLR> Darkomik77: She? must be obeyed? yeh right Drgafia1: Nite, BLR! OWC Mars: Thakns! Gandalara: Night BLR Araiused: See ya, BLR. E cat s: Night BLR Scanner59: Night, BLR Patterner: Night, BLR! TAMirabile: Night, BLR Darkomik77: mars, I know it's still around DerHexer: With the Night Mail come sto mind Araiused: There's a sequel, Mars. OWC Mars: Yes Ara? Darkomik77: nighter blr Darkomik77: Alysha TAMirabile: A sequel to SHE? Cephalopodperson: Did Kipling write vampires? Araiused: Where SHE was resurrected. Araiused: Yep, TAM Darkomik77: I think that what's called Cephalopodperson: Gunga Dinner? OWC Mars: Dark, yes I read SHE about 20 years ago, and OWC Mars: found it interesting in a musty steampunk sort of TAMirabile: Cool! OWC Mars: way. Araiused: A not very popular sequel. Patterner: LOL Araiused: Guess who did die then? Darkomik77: why? ara TAMirabile: the lover? Darkomik77: Quatermain? Araiused: Are you going to read the book? DerHexer: Quatermain was HR Haggard Darkomik77: I have to get them first Araiused: No spoilers then. OWC Mars: Thanks Ara. Cephalopodperson: If Kipling and Haggard collaborated on a Korean fantasy, would it be called KIM SHE? Darkomik77: (snaps fingers) shucks TAMirabile: ewwwwwww OWC Mars: LOLOLOLOL DerHexer: LOL E cat s: LOLOL Araiused: Argggh, Ceph Gandalara: Sheesh :) Darkomik77: ceph, yer in deep kimshee DerHexer: Well, Head, you racked up three LOLs and three groans Araiused: The chickens have worn out Gand ;) Araiused: Time for another vacation . :) OWC Mars: LOL. They are feisty critters. Gandalara: ::: nods head ::: Drgafia1: Ceph, are you stoned? With a pun like that, you should never see weed again.... Darkomik77: I prefer the furballs with teethe Cephalopodperson: LOL Darkomik77: teeth that is TAMirabile: lol Drg Drgafia1: I prefer them with teeethe, myself... OWC Mars: Old english Teeth. TAMirabile: especially Pink ones OWC Mars: The aftershave with a bite. Drgafia1: LOL Mars Darkomik77: (gives a toothe grin) Drgafia1: "On Guard!" "Toothe!" Araiused: Nice fangs, Dark TAMirabile: Many fangs, Dark Darkomik77: thank you ara OWC Mars: Speaking of teeth...Tippi said that having a OWC Mars: vampires teeth fall out when they bite someone OWC Mars: might not be such a great idea. Araiused: After shave and chilli? OWC Mars: I've always wondered about the teeth part. OWC Mars: How would you explain that SFingly? DerHexer: When did a vampire's teeth fall out?? Darkomik77: mars, they should use real steel teeth E cat s: Night, everyone :) Thank you for the chat, Mars :) DerHexer: Nite E Araiused: SEe ya, E! Darkomik77: if they wanna bite somebody OWC Mars: Night E. OWC Mars: Thanks for the questions! Araiused: When the vampire bit a robot, Der TAMirabile: Part of the syndrome is that the teeth TAMirabile: keep growing and they have to keep Cephalopodperson: Yeah...I was going to ask if anyone had ever seen an Cephalopodperson: old man, or an old woman..using dentures, turned in Cephalopodperson: a vampire story. TAMirabile: wearing them down biting people Patterner: Night, E! DerHexer: Why would a vampire bite a robot unless it had sucked blood out of Cheech and Chong first? Araiused: The robot looked tasty, Der Darkomik77: why would a vampire wanna drink oil? Araiused: LOLOL TAMirabile: Gotta be as good as a turnip. DerHexer: Heavy duty case of munchies OWC Mars: Well...if it were a cyborgish type... like the OWC Mars: Terminator robots. Something that looked human? OWC Mars: Perhaps? Gandalara: If the teeth fall out, wouldn't the blood spurt all over the place? Like a broken oil line? Araiused: LOL, Gand DerHexer: Some animals are constantly growing teeth to replce ones that are worn away - like beavers OWC Mars: True, Der...but that's not true of humans. Darkomik77: if I see a vampire whose teeth fell out I'd hold up a mirror DerHexer: Well, we don't chew logs Darkomik77: here! have a shine TAMirabile: Might be of vampires, though. OWC Mars: Now I suppose Vamps could keep growing teeth, OWC Mars: as the elongated canines seem to be a disruption OWC Mars: of genetic order already. Araiused: It wont have an image, Dark Drgafia1: The vampire was sitting in his bath and I walked over and kicked his teeth in. "That's what you get," I told him, "for leaving them on the edge like that...." DerHexer: Darkomik77: ara, you've been watching too much Bela Lugosi Drgafia1: ...it was a very old vampire... DerHexer: I have to get going. Night all Gandalara: Night Der OWC Mars: Der...good seeing you. Araiused: Nite, Der TAMirabile: Would a Jewish vampire be bothered by a cross? Araiused: Next time I'd say Hi and alsobye, Der. Cephalopodperson: Love those Mexican vampire movies. Darkomik77: or Hindu tam? Araiused: He'd be bothered by a crescent moon. OWC Mars: From Dusk Til Dawn was excellent imho. Drgafia1: TAM, I had a short-short in VERTEX in which the vampire responded to a cross thrust in his face with, "Oh, you silly supersticious fool!"
